Offset drops his awaited sophomore album “ Set It Off” marking his first solo LP in four years from his latest project “Father of Four”. He released two singles “Jealousy” featuring Cardi and “Fan as his leading singles . The Migos member says he ‘wanted to bring rap back’ .
The 21-track album features guests Travis Scott, Don Toliver, Future, Cardi B, Mango Foo, Latto, Young Nudy, and Chlöe. Offset also unveiled the official video for “SAY MY GRACE” with Travis Scott. In a new interview with Apple Music Offset said” “Even on my own journey, I still feel his presence and his energy like, bro, ‘We got to go hard. We got to win. We got to win. This ain’t the end of it.
“Some of the songs I made within them two years is, like, magical,” he says. “I feel like with this album you can just ride it through, top to bottom, one to 21.
”Though references to Takeoff do appear on a few tracks, like “Say My Grace” with Travis Scott and “Night Vision,” where Offset raps, “Thinking ‘bout spinnin’ bout my brotha Take that s—- been eating me (crazy) / I can’t get no peace when I be sleep be seeing.”
