Who or what inspired you to make music ?
My journey was ignited by a profound love for the art of music, nurtured through over 30 years of DJing. The COVID lockdowns presented a unique chance for self-reflection and exploration, leading me to immerse myself in the realm of music production. The inspiration behind this shift was rooted in a long-term dream: the aspiration to one day share my own musical creations on the iconic stages of Tomorrowland. The urge to contribute my unique sound to the music landscape and connect with audiences worldwide became a powerful driving force during those challenging times.
As I ventured further into my musical journey, my initial goal of playing my creations at Tomorrowland has transformed into a broader ambition. While the dream of gracing Tomorrowland’s stages continues to motivate me, my focus has expanded beyond being solely a DJ to embracing the role of a genuine artist. This evolution goes beyond a specific venue; it’s about building authentic connections with audiences, regardless of the venue’s size. Now, my objective is to craft music that deeply resonates with listeners, fostering a shared experience whether in an intimate locale or on a grand stage.
This shift involves transcending the confines of traditional DJing, as I aim to become a storyteller through my compositions. The goal is to create memorable experiences for audiences, whether in a cozy, intimate venue or a vast festival setting.
Tell us a bit about yourself (personality and things you like)
At my core, I have a deep-rooted love for the piano, and my affinity for synthesizers adds a unique touch to my musical arrangements. While I don’t confine myself to a specific music genre, I often find inspiration in the versatility of both instruments, allowing me to explore diverse sounds in my compositions.
In terms of personality, I find joy in socializing and meeting new people, but there’s also a bit of a ‘monk’ side to me. I thoroughly enjoy working alone for extended periods. It’s in those solitary moments that I delve into the intricacies of my music, immersing myself in the creative process. This balance between social interaction and the solitude of creation contributes to the dynamic and multifaceted aspects of both my personality and my work as an artist
What are your career accomplishments so far ? ( albums, singles, highlights)
I began my venture into music production earlier on, but it wasn’t until the end of 2021 that I took the significant step of sharing my creations with the world. Since that pivotal moment, my musical journey has been a dynamic exploration across a spectrum of genres, encompassing ambient, techno, house, and electronica.
Among my notable accomplishments, I’ve engaged in a variety of collaborative projects, bringing together diverse talents and influences to create music that transcends boundaries. These collaborations have not only expanded my sonic palette but have also connected me with the vibrant and creative community within the music industry.
In addition to collaborative efforts, I’ve released a series of singles and EPs, each serving as a unique sonic chapter. From atmospheric ambient compositions to the pulsating beats of techno, each release represents a distinct facet of my artistic expression.
While my career is still in its early stages, I take pride in the progress and diversity reflected in my musical portfolio. With my first release marking the beginning of this exciting journey, I look forward to continued growth, exploration of new sounds, and the ongoing joy of sharing my music with audiences globally.
How would you describe the music that you typically create?
The music I create is a fluid journey through various genres, a reflection of my exploration and experimentation in the realm of electronic music. While I’m still navigating between genres, I’ve received feedback from colleagues and labels that my sound is often described as ‘old skool.’ This term, while initially puzzling, holds a unique charm for me. As a DJ with a longstanding background, having learned the art on vinyl, being associated with ‘old skool’ resonates with my extensive experience in the industry.
What sets my music apart is the infusion of classical elements, sounds, and instruments. The incorporation of these timeless elements serves as a deliberate choice to evoke emotions and tell compelling stories. Far from being confined to a specific era, my music aims to bridge the gap between the classical and contemporary, creating a sonic landscape that is both nostalgic and forward-thinking.
While the ‘old skool’ label may be applied due to the classical influences, the heart of my creative process lies in the desire to convey emotion and narrative through each composition. My music is a canvas where the past and present converge, inviting listeners to embark on a journey that transcends time and resonates on a deeply emotional level.
Who would you most like to collaborate with ?
I find inspiration in the diversity of electronic music, and I’m open to collaborating with a wide range of producers who share a passion for innovation and creativity. What matters most to me in a collaboration is a shared willingness to learn, make choices, and find common ground in our artistic expression.
While I’ve explored collaborative projects with various electronic producers, I’m particularly intrigued by the prospect of collaborating with vocalists. Up until now, my collaborative experiences in this area have been limited to working with my daughter, which has been a uniquely rewarding experience. However, I’m eager to expand my horizons and explore the dynamic possibilities that come with collaborating with diverse vocalists.
In essence, my ideal collaborators are those who bring a fresh perspective to the table, fostering an environment of mutual growth and exploration. Whether it’s fellow electronic producers or vocalists, I’m excited about the potential for creating music that pushes boundaries and resonates with audiences on a deeper level.

I’m thrilled to share some insights into my upcoming EP, ‘Omicron Intimacy,’ set to release on November 20th. This project holds a special place in my heart, representing a significant milestone in my producer journey.
The EP features three captivating tracks that delve into the immersive realms of Electronica and Progressive House. The title track, ‘Omicron Intimacy,’ is a sonic exploration that takes listeners on a mesmerizing journey through electronic soundscapes. This release marks the first time someone has taken the time to remix one of my solo tracks, and the result is truly beautiful.
I’m immensely grateful and joyful to have talented producer friends, Greg Barker AKA Fiordland and Mick Walker AKA North, contribute their unique touch to the EP with their amazing remixes. Their creativity and dedication have added new dimensions to the music, elevating the entire project.
